Welcome to the Alpha Extract's actively managed portfolio.
This page covers everything you need to understand AE’s subscription offering and provides a comprehensive guide to get started.
Our portfolio is segmented into four distinct areas:
1) Long Term Investments
2) Swing Trades
3) Actively Managed TS System
4) Low Cap Fundamental Plays
Each segment offers a unique style and distinct investment opportunities:
1) Long Term Investments
This falls under the 'passive' part of the portfolio, requiring only a few hours weekly to manage. It includes buying and holding majors, based on trend models as well as liquidity, onchain, and other AE models.
The goal: capture majority of the cycle-long trends and take positions during both price and time capitulations.
Signals are provided in binary form or as accumulation/distribution zones.
2) Swing Trades
A more actively managed portfolio that works based on trend, and ratio models.
During current, bull cycle, phase - the focus is on spot positions, aiming to capture faster-moving trends with high-beta assets.
Positions typically last a few days to several weeks or months, depending on market conditions.
3) Actively Managed TS System
An improved Token Selection system that our team actively manages to optimize token holdings.
4) Low Cap Fundamental Plays
This segment invests based on fundamental analysis and whale-wallet tracking, led by AE’s on-chain analysts.
Opportunities here are identified through accumulation/distribution zones, accompanied by investment expectations and investment thesis.
Current Market Note: In the current environment, all assets on the portfolio page are intended for spot holdings exclusively. When an asset is removed from the portfolio page, it means that the position is closed.
Additionally, you now have access to one of our best constructed systems, AE's Buy/Sell System.
This system uses funding rate data, making it unique compared to the majority of algorithmic models.
Depending on market conditions, it gives out either strong or weak buy/sell signals.
How does it operate?
Strong buy (green Buy): When the price is below the green EMA and funding rate conditions are met, a strong buy signal is generated. This suggests a robust entry point to capitalize on the current market environment.
Strong sell (red Sell): When price is above the red MA and funding rate conditions are met, a strong sell signal is triggered, indicating a likely overvalued level and signaling a potential exit.
Weak buy[triangle] / sell[cross] (yellow signals): Designed for bear markets, these signals are more sensitive to price action than the strong signals, helping you navigate trades within down trending conditions.
You may choose to incorporate it in your systems, as a way to proactively find buy/sell zones.
The real gem, however, is in this being layered on top of additional data points. That said, our team will provide insights regarding how we layer additional analysis on top of this, and make our decisions based on aggregated data points, in a form of actionable advice.
